Sommer Duo Vision (650N)

The SOMMER Duo 650 SL is the recommended door operator for garages up to 5m wide. 650 N traction force, softened star and end to door movement. Unique design with separate control box which can be sited up to 5m away, just find an existing socket and plug in; no electrician required! Includes 2 hand transmitters.

Unique duo Features

• The duo control box is separate from the track and motor. This means you can locate it on a wall near to an existing power socket and simply plug it in. A 5 metre low voltage cable connects the control box to the track.
• Simple to install - a power socket is not required on the ceiling and no electrician is needed, meaning there are no Part P compliance worries.
• Gives 2 speed travel - the start and end of the motor movement are softened to give a quiet opening and closing cycle (and avoiding noisy door 'slam').
• Automatically learns the amount of force needed to open and close the door and senses for any obstruction as the motor moves. If an obstruction is sensed, the motor stops its travel and, if on the closing cycle, the motor reverses for 2 seconds.
• The duo has been designed to be energy efficient in operation.

Separate motor controller

• Wall switch is already integrated so no separate push button is required.
• No complex electrical installation is needed.
• Integrated lighting.

Travelling motor

• The motor track carriage itself moves along a permanently tensioned chain.
• No frictional loss and no loss of power, as occurs with a revolving chain.
• This leads to a longer service life and less general wear and tear.

High security and safety due to automatic obstacle detection, break-in protection and SLS (Safety Lock System). TŰV (German Technical Inspectorate) and GS (Tested Safety) certification.

Note: Remote control systems are for retractable garage doors. Canopy garage doors will require a 'Bow arm' converter system. Please see accessories for Bow arms.
