Garage Door Locking Latch Cable

A latch/locking cable to suit most garage doors fitted with cable locking. This universal part can be used to replace existing, worn or snapped cables which run from the back of the garage door lock, to the latch(es) on the door. It will fit many common makes of garage door including Henderson, Cardale, King, Garador, Wessex, Wickes, and more.

The latch cable is plastic coated and comes supplied with a steel adjuster.

It is supplied in a standard length of 80", meaning it can be cut to size to suit fixing to either top latches or side latches.

It is also available in a longer length of 200", to suit doors with multi-point locking where multiple locking cables require replacement.

What is the difference between a locking cable and a lifting cable?

A locking cable is a cable that attaches the internal locking mechanism of the door to the spring-loaded latches, usually located at the top of the garage door, or the bottom corners.

The lifting cables on a garage door assist in the opening and closing mechanism of the garage door, and usually run down either side of the garage door.

• 200" (Pre-made loop at one end) (Supplied with 4 ferrules to allow you to cut the cable to size and create your own loops)
