Garador C-type Side Extension Spring

Garador C-Type side extension springs are suitable for Garador canopy garage doors manufactured between 1999-2002. The doors had a single spring on either side of the door with a white plastic pulley at the top end of the spring. They also have a cast metal bracket with an angled pulley wheel at the top corners of the door frame, which the cables run around.

It is always recommended to replace springs in pairs, so that the door remains balanced.

How can I identify the Garador C-Type spring I need?

These springs suit C-type doors manufactured from 1999 to 2002. There will usually be a label on the back of the door to identify the make and door model. There are 6 available spring variants denoting different spring strengths. These are identifiable by the coloured banding displayed on the spring itself, with either white, red, or green paint striped across the spring. To double check you have the correct spring strength, you can use our handy spring chart displayed further down the page which allows you to match the spring strength to your door size.
