Garage Door Rubber Bottom Seal

Rubber blade seal for use on the bottom of a garage door. A heavy duty rubber garage door seal used to stop drafts, leaves, insects, noise, and dust from entering the garage underneath the door. The rubber seal is supplied in either 30mm or 55mm, to suit different sized gaps underneath your garage door.

The weather strip is easily attached to the bottom of the door via the supplied aluminium holder. The soft aluminium strip is very easy to drill holes in, then rivet or screw it to the bottom edge of your garage door (note: fixings are not supplied). Suitable for use on metal, timber or GRP doors.

Is the rubber seal available to seal different sizes of gaps?

Yes, the rubber seal is supplied in two sizes: 30mm and 55mm. It is supplied in one length of 2.44m (8ft) making it suitable for most single garage doors. For wider applications, multiple seals can be butted together to create a seal.

How is the rubber bottom seal installed?

The seal is installed by drilling holes through the aluminium holder, allowing it to be affixed to the bottom of the garage door with either screws or rivets. The weather seal is usually attached to the bottom back face of the garage door.
